The EF28 is an external fanless HiFi-ATX power supply and can be used perfectly for the Mini chassis. The ATX-Adapter is mounted inside the case and the PSU is placed outside similar to laptop PSUs. The external and internal parts are connected with a high quality HiFi cable. The EF28 is capable of providing enough power for Intel's new Core 2 Duo as well as standard processors from Intel and AMD that do not demand more that 75W. This PSU is only supplied with one 4-pin Molex connector and one 4-pin floppy drive connector.

 The recommended Slot Loaded DVD player for the Mini requires a floppy drive power connector and not a Molex. There is also a converter supplied that converts the 4-pin Molex connect to SATA, so it is possible to power both types of hard drives. If more than one hard drive is required then a Y-splitter is required (unfortunately Quiet PC do not stock this product). PLEASE NOTE: This product is highly recommended if you intend to purchase the Mini case.
